Shazad Wali - President

Shazad Wali brings more than seven years of IT consulting and project management experience to the Wali Consulting, Inc. He enjoys certifications/affiliations from Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Project Management Institute (PMI), Association of IT Professionals (AITP), Microsoft, Cisco Systems, and Nortel Networks.

In addition to his accomplishments and certifications he holds both a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and an Associate Applied Science in Computer Networking and Systems Engineering.

Shazad Wali’s mission is to establish Wali Consulting, Inc.’s leadership in global market. Prior to Wali Consulting, Inc., Shazad Wali served as the Director of National Projects for @Link Networks, Inc. He also served CompUSA, Inc. as a Senior Technical Project Manager. While there, he led large, complex, multi-million dollar, nationwide projects, such as Voice over IP VoIP, IP/VPN, PBX Exchange/Interconnection  in growing markets in the Midwest region.

Shazad Wali successfully reorganized CompUSA and @Link’s Project Management Office (PMO), established methodologies, recommended changes to methods, approaches, and tools to align organization(s) with industry’s best practice(s) according to the Project Management Institute (PMI) standards and the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) to streamline processes.

In addition, his responsibilities included planning, development, implementation, and management of all projects. Prepare project charters, plans (project schedule, risk, change control, communications plans), and identifying project scope, objectives, budgets, timelines, milestones, deliverable, dependencies etc. Managed client management, telecommunications, software, and new product development projects.

Shazad Wali successfully implemented project disciplines with a comprehensive planning approach to improve revenue and profitability. In his career he helped drive revenue of more than $8 million.
